It wasn't really a treehouse, but it felt like one. It was a bit too far from public transportation for us, but I wish we could have this lovely apartment we saw in the Oakland hills. I am longing for a quiet place just like it. The top photo shows the peaceful view and huge windows in the living room. At the end of the block (50 feet away!!) was a path into the Oakland Rose Garden. It kind of hurts to look at these photos now. If anyone knows of any cute apartments or cottages in Piedmont, send them my way!
